Personally, I choose to wear petite earrings. There are some exceptions and this is one. I begin stitching the center of this earring and build out. The beads are Czech superduo, a two-hole bead. It comes in an extraordinary range of colors. Combining them is endlessly fun. I finish the outside with Japanese glass seed beads and glass pearls. So much glass and thread mean it’s really lightweight while still packing a big visual punch.
The finished disk is 1 inch and the finished earring is 2.5inches from the top of the sterling ear wired to the bottom Czech teardrop bead.
