I pick up each seed bead individually as I weave the netted bezel of the top crystal. It is a cushion cut Swarovski rivoli, 14mm before I wrap it. As I stitch, I incorporate the rings that the bottom crystals hang from. Because I use silver metallic glass seed beads and the net is so tight, the back of earring looks a lot like vintage filigree.
This combination of matte gray and a wire wrapped gray/black Swarovski teardrop is striking and very rich looking but artisan. It’s understated yet a bit flashy. The earring has great movement is sure to get you noticed. I can customize this for a wedding earring.
2.5 inches long on silver lever backs for security.
